My Experience of Loka Toronto Resturant

So there was this Kickstarter that my friend Caiti McCleland introduced me to & I like food & helping out people’s dreams so I got to know this chef by the name of Dave Motthershall the campaign sounded cool he wanted to move on from his Popup location where he was serving up his unique small dish “Loka Snacks ” in Queen E HiLo Bar
So I checked out his video & thought sure will invest in his idea back in July 2015
And amazingly by November 2015 I was sitting in his new found Queen W restaurant location called “Loka”

being apart of one there first Kickstarter dinners before it had there grand opening

The success turn around from idea/conception to excision & making it a reality is amazing
The food served Is all sourced locally is tapa / small dish style & the menu may change daily

img_4021.jpegThere food fare is highly unique & quite tasty & really delicious

Each dish that comes to your table is explained throughly to heighten your senses for what your about to eat & to enjoy it more

They have an in house wine somileer & mixologist to pare well with each of Chef Dave’s dishes & serving up drinks of choice

But it really is about the unique food ideas, concept & craft of each dish Chef Dave Marshell puts out is a work of art

You can see the open kitchen &!sit near it @ the chefs table each night & eat the whole menu or have him whip something custom for you as well

So Loka Toronto is located @ 620 Queen St W (Queen & Bathurst area)
You definitely should make the trip down & experience this dining adventure you will love it Call 416-995-9639 for reservations  Or walk ins are welcome as well
